11SIXTEEN, INC.
A multi-platform creative business
WOW! How this business has changed over the years. We are so thankful for the growth and the new adventures that have opened up to us over the years. What began in 2008 as a focused custom stationery business, has transformed into a multi-platform creative business.
11Sixteen, Inc. creates beautiful paper elements to brides and special event coordinators that complement their special occasion; beautiful enough to become an heirloom piece that will remind them one day of a treasured memory.
In 2010, we expanded our horizons and started working with businesses who recognize the importance of good design in marketing. Designing for promotional items, POP, and marketing stationery are just a few ways that businesses rely on us for their branding and marketing needs.
In 2021, we expanded even further, providing design and event consulting. This is where most of our home décor, gifts, etc. side of our business caters to.
In 2023, we purchased a machine that will allow up to provide in-house promotional items and displays that can accomplished by a laser engraver. We can’t wait to see what doors this piece of equipment opens up!
Jonell Wilson
Creative Business Owner
My name is Jonell, and I am the owner and lead digital design consultant here at 11Sixteen. I live in the South and strongly believe that paper is a true icon of Southern hospitality. A hand-written note can do wonders for a broken heart and can bring sunshine to someone’s dark day. For as long as I can remember, I have loved paper – the way it looks, the way it feels, and all the amazing things you can do with it. As a child, I spent endless hours writing, doodling, coloring in notebooks, and playing “office”.
I am enthusiastic about design – I enjoy creating something timeless for any and every occasion. Most of all, I enjoy working together with my clients to create a custom piece that they send out with pride knowing that it is a one-of-a-kind expression of their personal style.
I have learned the value of education and constantly investing in myself to enhance my design skills. I work very hard and apply life’s lessons to make my business something that clients trust and desire. When I’m not designing paper elements, you’ll still probably find me working on some sort of creative project. This led to the expansion of my business to include event design and consulting.
Now that you know a little about me, I’d be delighted to get to know more about you and chat about how we can work together to make your creative vision come to life. I desire to be kind and gracious and hope to inspire others by making every day a little more delightful, one design at a time.
The Society for Creative Founders
I am a Creative Founder
In 2014, I attended a conference called Stationery Academy. My main goal was to network with other ladies who had a business like mine, and could relate to things that the design industry was experiencing. I had a pretty good arsenal of vendors that I used, and I was already confident in my ability to design well. What I felt like I lacked was a community of like-minded business women. I completely found them in this group. Stationery Academy was a supportive, community-driven environment that provided knowledge, tools, and encouragement that I needed to GROW my business.
Shortly after I attended the conference, the group was re-branded as The Society for Creative Founders. I attended a conference under the new owner in 2018. The amount of talent in one room was humbling, and I gained a lot of great business knowledge within each and every session. If this sounds like a place where you would completely fit in, I encourage you to checkout the website.
