Cow Appreciation Day 2017

Post Date : July 31, 2017

Back in October, Chick-fil-A held a design contest for Cow Appreciation Day T-shirts.  In the past, different stores were encouraged to dress in cow attire to help with the spirit of the day.  Stores often turned to custom t-shirts for their employees to wear.  Most of the designs worn were not “on brand” and were not approved by the company’s creative team.  To help unify the brand on this special day, the marketing department decided to host a t-shirt design contest.  80 designs were submitted, and the final three favorites were voted on by team members, operators, and corporate staff.  3,000 votes were submitted and the design that I submitted was announced the winner!  I later found out that over 40,000 shirts were ordered and worn over the entire country.  Here are a few images that I received of team members wearing my design!
